This collaboration will provide an immersive summer camp experience that will focus on advanced manufacturing / CNC Machining, The “CNC machine training uses the TITANS of CNC Building Blocks with a 3-axis mill. Along with a similar camp the previous week in Homewood, this is the first time that the TITAN’s curriculum is used in a summer camp format. The camp runs August 5-9 at the Family Life Center-Church in the Round in Aliquippa. Throughout the camp, students learn about career opportunities in the manufacturing industry. Each camper will tour manufacturing company, VEKA Inc, and see the manufacturing engineering department at Robert Morris University. The Beaver County Career and Technology Center will also be assisting the students in machining their parts. The costs for the camp and a stipend to pay campers, through a “summer earn and learn” model, are covered by financial support from the Benedum Foundation, Chevron Corporation and Shell Corporation. Donations of tools and raw material were also provided by Kennametal and MSC Direct, and Metal Supermarkets (Pittsburgh North).

TITANS of CNC Academy is the biggest CNC and manufacturing educational program ever developed. Utilizing videos to teach CAD design, CNC programing, and CNC machining, .

TITANS offers introductory to advanced machining coursework for both CNC mills and CNC lathes. In addition to quality how-to training videos for 1000s of projects, TITANS provides handouts, curriculum, and additional resources to support student learning.
